JDC- love this girl. She is my virtual neighbor on VOX but also my next door neighbor in Laurel  Heights.  I just saw her place for the first time this week. We had a lovely evening as always...punctuated by a lot of wine and a 2 AM departure time.  

Show us a simple pleasure you've enjoyed recently.

Beer, good.  Hot sauce, good. 

The Michelada is a tasty beverage that I recently discovered at a bar downtown called Cantina. 

I liked it so much a friend looked it up for me on webtender.com (love that site).

Ingredients:

• 12 oz Beer
• Juice of 1 Lemon
• 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
• 1 dash Soy sauce
• 1 dash Tabasco sauce
• 1 pinch Black pepper
• Salt to taste

Mixing instructions:

Mix ingredients in a tall high glass with lots of ice. Add beer at the end. Mix and enjoy.

I'm not discounting Larry King or Anderson Cooper on CNN but until they are as funny, articulate, and aesthetically pleasing as Jon Stewart, he'll remain my numero uno.

Boyz II Men

I believe it was "End of the Road" at my first middle school dance (6th grade) with Jefferson Lind, my first boyfriend.  That song, to this day, brings me back. 

B2M recently played at the Cache Creek Casino.  I had VIP tickets (ah yeah!)but ended up having to forfeit them due to another commitment.  What I wouldn't give to hear those old school jams up close and personal!

I'm not even a 'pop' drinker, but this logo is so inviting.  This product was recently endorsed by Health, a magazine for women.  I'm curious if it is meant to have a different taste the the original Diet Coke.  If you've tried it, I'd love to hear your review.
