What are you saving up for?
Submitted by Star.
A trip to Madrid to visit my very dear friend Erin, who will be moving there in a few months.
Who has been the most surprising player so far in the 2007 NFL season?
A lot of people counted him down and out after both the 2005 and 2006 seasons, even urged him to retire. Given his current status, I can't think of another player (not even close) that has garnered more respect (well-deserved) from the entire league and fans no matter which colors you wave on Sunday (or Monday night). I was delighted to see him surpass Dan Marino's all-time touchdown record (420) two weeks ago. I think it's safe to say that #4 is neither down nor out and I'm looking forward to witnessing further greatness during the 2007 season and beyond.
What celebrity do you most often get told you resemble?
Submitted by Leets.
There was rarely a day (for several years actually) that would pass where a random couldn't resist offering the Claire Danes resemblance. I actually always thought she was rather plain and uninteresting so I would generally relay a brisk 'thanks' and brush it off.
The best celebrity look-alike remark I ever received (a few times actually) was Gwyneth Paltrow. I wish it were a bit more true but I'll take it!
Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?
Submitted by Sean & Stefan.
I ask myself this same question all the time. Normally, if I'm in the vacation mindset in the first place, it means that i need an escape. The conclusion I often come to is, I think it would be refreshing for the first three days but would then crave friends/family to share the experience and stories with. Any vacation of mine includes warm weather and a beach, period.
Why do you live where you live?

This is an extremely relevant question at this particular time in my life. Anyone who lives or has ever lived in this city will agree that things never stay the same for long.
I have lived in San Francisco for almost two years and have moved three times (including my initial move from Seattle). First, I was in the Mission with my sister and Joe- they were kind enough to lend me the guest room for a few months while i got settled in the city. Next, it was Russian Hill. No offense to anyone that lives there, but I was never happier to leave an area (and I lived in the Mission!). After nearly a year in Russian Hill, I took a chance and moved to Laurel Heights. Yes, I gained an extra roommate and lost a bathroom, but the area is much more me. I've been there since October and really love it. In fact, I had the opportunity to move-out recently but I decided to stay. I realized that for the first time in two years, I am actually living somewhere that feels like home.
Having said all that, I am looking for two roommates to replace the lovely ladies I have been residing with for the past 9 months. I will miss them dearly as they both make their way to the Big Apple at the end of this month. I actually posted my Craigslist ad last Friday. That was actually kind of frightening for me, especially since i hate the phone. I am hoping this process is as painless as possible. SO, if you know of any sweet ladies in their mid-20's that are looking for a kick-a$$ place to live, you know where to send them!
Are you taking a vacation this summer (or this season)? Where are you headed and who's going with you?
Once you reach a certain point in your life, you no longer get vacations; you take time off to travel to weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties and graduations. I entered this phase of my life almost three years ago and I don't foresee the end of it anytime soon...at least not until my mid-thirties.
My 'vacations' this year will consist of:
* a trip to Cabo for a bachelorette party
* a trip to Florida for a wedding
* a trip to Chicago for a graduation
* this is following a trip to Seattle for baby births/showers
One day I will actually have enough time off to spend a week or two in Greece or some other tropical destination where the soul action item will be to bask on a chase lounge and not move until the sun goes down...someday.
What family member do you most aspire to be like? Why?

Easy, my older sister, Jamie. We could not be more opposite from one another despite my relentless attempts to copy everything she did as a child. She is the most driven, courageous person I know; I'm honored to call her sister.
