What change have you made in your life that you're most proud of?

President-elect Barack Obama is being sworn into office today. Where are you watching the events of this historic day unfold?
Why, on my mobile phone of course! On the commute into work, i had it turned to MSNBC so i didn't have to miss a single solitary moment of the ceremony. I now have my phone propped in my 'mobile lounge chair' adjacent to my PC with MobiTV running.
This is what i call multi-tasking! Yeah, Obama!!!!!
What are your favorite Thanksgiving traditions? Anything you're not so fond of?
A few years ago, my family started a tradition not only at Thanksgiving but at most major family get togethers involving delicious home cooked food- the fam-tini. This is exactly what it sounds like...we all consume giant martinis in addition to massive quantities of vino and quite possibly another, less smooth/tasty liquor like Old Smuggler, Ouzo or even Jagger (no explanation needed there). As you can imagine, although this is quite fun it can get quite loud and out of hand...i love my family.
How do you feel about the results of the election?
I feel relieved in addition to proud and inspired. I am buying up all of the major newspapers to remember the significance of this event and point in history.
Although as in all elections i am not 100% satisfied. Prop 8 passing is a let down of significant proportions. Intolerance is inexcusable and wrong. I am not totally sure how this will play out but i truly hope that the repercussions have a minimal effect on those who were targeted.
I'm so glad that I can continue to wear all of my Obama t-shirts!!!
What's your favorite saying?
Ironic that this question should come up today. I had an epiphany yesterday about people who drag their feet and the saying that popped into my head was, "Shit or get off the pot!" That really says it all, albeit in a vulgar sort of way.

smile today?
My friends and family. I am truly blessed by wonderful people who both make me laugh and provide unconditional love. The memories we create keep me going.

photos like this...he is the only man I know who rivals my love for the 'kissy face' pose. Cracks me up.
